dr hab. inż. Jerzy Baranowski, Prof. AGH
Jerzy Baranowski. Head of laboratory of Computer Science in Control and Management in the Department of Automatic Control and Robotics. Worked at AGH since 2010, after completing PhD. In 2017 DSc degree, and received the stipend of Ministry of Science and Higher Education for exceptional young scientists.
Interests are in the areas of research and development with special focus on data analysis and Bayesian models.
Realized multiple national and international projects funded among the others by NCN, NCBR, Horizon 2020, PARP, NAWA and E&Y. I’ve authored over 150 scientific papers.
dr hab. inż. Edyta Kucharska, Prof. AGH
Graduate and employee of AGH-UST. The main area of research interests is modeling and methods of solving dynamic decision problems, in particular production and logistics processes. The second area of interest is IT systems for enterprise management ERP and tools for data analysis and visualization in business and industry.
Currently holds the position of Deputy Dean of Faculty of Electrical
Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at the AGH UST University Science and Technology.
dr Katarzyna Grobler-Dębska
Katarzyna Grobler-Dębska is a doctor of technical sciences in the discipline of electrical engineering, electronics and automation. She is a member of laboratory of Computer Science in Control and Management in Department of Automatic Control and robotics. She completed PhD in 2019.
Her interests are mainly related to predictive and prescriptive analysis and optimization of manufacturing and logistic processes in enterprises.
She realized many national research project funded by NCN, NCBiR and NAWA and also three research and development projects in an international company implementing integrated ERP information systems cofounded by the European Fund or NCBIR. She is an author of 27 scientific papers.
dr Agnieszka Zielińska
Agnieszka Zielińska is an adjunct professor at the University of Science and Technology din Krakow, Poland. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University; she also studied at the Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven in Belgium. In 2007 she received a Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.C) degree from the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University. In 2000 she earned a Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisés et Certificat d’Aptitude à l’Administration des Entreprises from the University Lille 1, France.
Apart from AGH in Krakow, she gained teaching experience at North Karelia University in Joensuu, Finland, University of A Coruña, University of Valencia, University of Malaga (Spain) and University of Western Macedonia (Greece). Being a member of the Polish Bar, she provides legal services for multinational companies and Polish entrepreneurs in various sectors, including IT and new technologies. Her recent interests focus on the relation between the law and AI – the two areas, which became more and more dependent one from another.
dr inż. Marta Kraszewska
My research interests include the issues of artificial intelligence and its use in business, in particular in the area of economics and finances. I am also interested in the analysis and implementation of new technologies enabling building a competitive advantage and shaping the success of the organization. I run classes and look after diploma theses in this area. I try to combine my scientific passions with practice and implement proposed solutions in business.
dr inż. Krzysztof Kluza
Krzysztof Kluza (kluza@agh.edu.pl) is an assistant professor at AGH
University of Science and Technology in Krakow. He obtained MSc in
Automatics & Robotics (2009) at AGH UST, MA in Cultural Studies (2010)
at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and PhD in Computer Science (2015)
at AGH UST. He co-authored over 80 papers related to knowledge and
software engineering. Currently, he is a member of the KRaKEn (Knowledge
Representation and Knowledge Engineering) research group
(http://kraken.agh.edu.pl/) and his primary scientific interests focus
on business processes and business rules in information systems.
dr inż. Tomasz Kryjak
I am an Assistant Professor at the Embedded Vision Systems Group, Department of Automatic Control and Robotics, AGH University of Science and Technology Krakow, Poland. My research is focused on embedded vision systems implemented in FPGA and Zynq System on Chip devices (using hardware/software co-design).
I am interested in advanced video surveillance systems (background modelling, foreground object segmentation, object recognition and tracking), as well as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), vision systems used in intelligent transportation systems (ITS), vision system for autonomous vehicles (self-driving cars and drones), event cameras and neuromorphic computing. I am a IEEE Senior Member, Steering Committee Member of the DASIP conference and TCP member of the ARC and DSD conferences. I am the author and co-author of over 90 scientific papers.
dr inż. Waldemar Bauer
He is a member of the Laboratory of Computer Science in Control and Management in the Department of Automatic Control and robotics. He graduated from the same University in the field of Applied Computer Science with a specialisation in software engineering and completed a PhD in 2020 in the field of Automatica and Robotics.
His interests focus on broadly understood control engineering with the primary speciality in scientific research are data analysis, storage and management data, ML and Bayes’s statistics methods.
He realized many national research projects funded by NCN, NCBiR and NAWA and also research and development projects for different companies implementing algorithms for data analyse by the NCBIR.
dr Nataliia Kashpruk
Nataliia Kashpruk. Research and teaching assistant at the Department of Automatic Control and Robotics. Worked at AGH since 2021r., after completing PhD in Opole University of Technology. Interests are in the areas of research include data analysis and cybersecurity.
mgr inż. Adrian Dudek
Doctoral candidate at AGH University of Science and Technology and a member of Laboratory of Computer Science in Control and Management in Department of Automatic Control and Robotics. He graduated from the same University in the field of Automation and Robotics with a specialization of Cyber-Physical Systems.
His interests focuses on broadly understood control engineering with main specialty in scientific research are data analysis methods and Bayesian statistics.
mgr inż. Rafał Mularczyk
Research and didactic worker at the AGH University of Science and Technology Stanisław Staszic in Krakow. He graduated from the same university, majoring in Automation and Robotics. He completed a research and teaching internship at the Laboratory of Computer Science in Control and Management.
In my teaching activities I deal with issues related to the use of business analysis systems, data visualization and analysis, and numerical methods.
In the field of scientific work, I deal with the implementation of business analysis systems and data analysis for enterprise management systems. Currently co-author of 2 scientific articles.
